A wonderful group of friends and family gathered to shower the soon-to-be Mother with love and gifts on a spring-like Saturday afternoon. Erin's 33 weeks pregnant in this picture and has a beautiful pregnancy glow.
The shower had a jungle theme, with lots of jungle animals and creative titles for all of the munchies.
The "Safari Sandwiches" were croissants filled with curried chicken salad - a family favorite recipe.
The "Jungle Fruit" was a mix of melon, pineapple, strawberries, blackberries, and apples, and was served alongside a decadent lemon marshmallow dip.
Erin received many adorable onesies and outfits that are sure to make this little boy a contender for best dressed newborn. Other thoughtful gifts included handmade blankets, crib sheets, a baby monitor, car seat, and high chair. My gift to Erin and Eli was a BOB jogging stroller. I can't wait to take the little guy out for a run!
One of Erin's friends made this adorable diaper cake complete with the cutest pair of shoes.
We're down to the final 6 week countdown to Baby Eli's arrival and our whole family is bursting with excitement! It's hard to believe that my baby brother is going to be a Dad, but I have no doubt that he and Erin are going to be amazing parents to a very lucky little boy.
